Green Bay Packers Training Camp Schedule and Open Practices

The Green Bay Packers have released the schedule for their upcoming training camp, a tradition that dates back to 1946. Practices will be held at Ray Nitschke Field, with the highlight of the camp being Packers Family Night at Lambeau Field. The specific times for open practices will be announced at a later date.

“Back to Football” Theme and Opening Week

The Packers’ training camp kicks off on Wednesday, July 26, with a practice session. The opening week will feature three open practices in four days, providing fans with the opportunity to witness the team in action (July 27, 29). The second week will also include three open practices (July 31, Aug. 1, 3), leading up to the much-anticipated Family Night at Lambeau Field on Saturday, Aug. 5.

Joint Practices and Preseason Games

Following Family Night, the Packers will continue their preparations with an open practice on August 7 before traveling to Cincinnati for a joint practice with the Bengals. The Packers’ first preseason game will be against the Bengals on August 11. The team will then return to Lambeau Field for an open practice on August 14 and joint practices with the New England Patriots on August 16-17, culminating in a preseason game against the Patriots on August 19. The final open practices of training camp will be held on August 22-23, with the preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field on August 26.

Additionally, the annual Packers Family Night, featuring a full practice and various family-focused activities, is scheduled for Saturday, August 5. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase online through Ticketmaster.
